# What is AgriBus-GMiniR?
This is a palm-sized dual-frequency RTK-GNSS receiver for use by connecting via Bluetooth to"[AgriBus-NAVI](https://agri-info-design.com/agribus-navi-2/)", a GNSS/GPS guidance application for Android that is mounted on agricultural vehicles such as tractors and combine harvesters to assist "straight and even travel" in the Cultivated land.
**High-precision positioning with dual-frequency RTK-GNSS module**
Equipped with u-blox ZED-F9P dual-frequency RTK-GNSS module. It is capable of centimeter-level ultra-high accuracy positioning. The "AgriBus-GMiniR" can be used as either a reference station or a mobile station with RTK positioning.
**Easy operation of reference stations**
Easy to use as a reference station has been refined. Automatic connection to the correction information transfer service "AgriBus-Caster" makes it possible to operate the reference station with "AgriBus-GMiniR" alone. There is no need to prepare a separate PC or smartphone dedicated to the reference station. You can easily switch between mobile stations and reference stations with the"[AgriBus-GTools](https://agri-info-design.com/agribus-gtools/)" application.

### Description of the main unit

Connect the included USB power cable and power it up to start.
**GNSS-ANT**
Connect the supplied dual-frequency high-performance active antenna (antenna and cable integrated / cable length 5 m).

Indicates the status of the main unit.

# Installation Method
### AgriBus-GMiniR main unit
- Wi-Fi is used to send correction information to correction information transfer services such as "AgriBus-Caster".Please prepare an environment where Wi-Fi is always available.Wi-Fi is supported only in the 2.4GHz band.
- Please prepare an environment that can be powered by the included USB power cable.
- The main unit is not dustproof or waterproof. If you plan to install the unit outdoors, please wrap it in a plastic bag.
- Install the unit so that it is stable.
- Make sure that the USB power cable and antenna cable are not bent or overloaded.
- There are no restrictions on the orientation of the main unit.
### GNSS Antenna
- The antenna is waterproof.The antenna should be installed as horizontally as possible in a location with an open sky, such as on the roof of a building.If there are any obstructions around the antenna, the radio waves will be reflected and cause errors, so make sure that the antenna is placed as unobstructed as possible above an elevation angle of about 15° from the horizontal plane.
- The antenna cable length is 5 meters. Pay attention to the length of the cable when installing the unit.
- Placing an iron ground plane (10 to 20 cm in diameter) on the bottom of the antenna tends to stabilize the positioning slightly. The antenna also has a built-in magnet for easy installation and removal.
- Please note that if you tighten the connection between the antenna and the main unit too tightly, the cable inside the main unit may come off.
- Please provide your own mounting hardware.
- After setting the antenna position with "AgriBus-GTools", do not move the antenna. If you move the antenna, the correction information may be misaligned.

# How to use
### Updating the firmware
Please make sure to update the firmware to the latest version in "AgriBus-GTools" before use. The firmware release will be announced on our website and Facebook. ### Switching to the reference station
Switch the operation mode of the main unit to "Reference station" with "AgriBus-GTools". In the shipment state, the operation mode is "Mobile station".

# Frequently Asked Questions
### What antenna do you recommend?
The "AgriBus-GMiniR" comes with an antenna as an accessory, so there is no need to prepare it separately.
### I want to extend the cable of the antenna.
The supplied antenna is not designed to be extended, and we do not recommend extending the cable.
We have a separate set of high-performance antennas with replaceable antenna cables, so please use that. If you would like to order this set, please contact us at contact@agri-info-design.com so that we can send you a quotation and order form.

### How far can a mobile station be from a reference station?
For ultra-high accuracy RTK positioning, the distance between a mobile station and a reference station should be "roughly within 10 km". If the distance is farther than that, there is a possibility that the error will be FLOAT, but if you are aiming for an error of "within 3cm", there is no practical problem even at a distance of about 20km. In some cases, users have been able to FIX even at a distance of 50km.
### How can I use AgriBus-Caster?
You can use the correction information transfer service "AgriBus-Caster" by subscribing to the Standard Plan/Enterprise plan of the "AgriBus-NAVI" application.
### Can I use another company's correction data transfer/distribution service?
Yes, you can use other companies' correction transfer/distribution services such as RTK2GO without using "AgriBus-Caster". However, please note that this is not supported by us.
### Is it necessary to have an Internet connection at the reference station?
Wi-Fi is used to send correction information to a correction information transfer service such as "AgriBus-Caster".Please prepare an environment where Wi-Fi is always available.Wi-Fi is supported only in the 2.4GHz band.
### What is the meaning of the blinking LED on the main unit?

Please check if the Wi-Fi router supports the 2.4GHz band or if the setting [Wi-Fi] in "AgriBus-GTools" is correct.

Please check if the Wi-Fi router is connected to the Internet or if the setting [Ntrip] of "AgriBus-GTools" is correct.

Corrections have been successfully sent to the Correction Information Transfer Service.
### My status is frequently set to "Stopped". What should I do?
Although "AgriBus-GMiniR" is equipped with an automatic Wi-Fi recovery function, it may disconnect from the Wi-Fi router. Please check the settings of your Wi-Fi router. Please check the following items in general.
- Eco Mode
- Harmful site blocking
- DHCP Allocation Number
- Privacy separator
- Guest Port Availability Time
Disconnection may also occur depending on the condition of the line.Our research shows that ADSL lines are more likely to be disconnected between 7pm and 9pm than mobile lines (4G).
### How long should the antenna position be measured with AgriBus-GTools?
The measurement time of the antenna position in "AgriBus-GTools" is about 5 minutes, which is a practical range of error. The longer the measurement time, the smaller the error will be, so please choose the measurement time according to your situation.
### What is the data format of the correction information?
RTCM 3.3.
### Can I use this product for surveying?
This product cannot be used for surveying.
### How can I update the u-blox ZED-F9P dual-frequency RTK-GNSS module?
Please connect the device to a Windows PC with a USB cable and update the firmware with u-blox' u-center software.
