AgriBus-GMiniR User's Manual - Mobile stations Edition (Public Version)

This manual is intended for use when the dual-frequency RTK-GNSS receiver "AgriBus-GMiniR" is installed in a vehicle and used as a mobile station.
---
# What is AgriBus-GMiniR?
It is a palm-sized dual-frequency RTK-GNSS receiver for use by connecting via Bluetooth to "[AgriBus-NAVI](https://agri-info-design.com/agribus-navi-2/)", a GNSS/GPS guidance application for Android that is installed on agricultural vehicles such as tractors and combines to assist "straight and even travel" in the Cultivated land.
**High-precision positioning with dual-frequency RTK-GNSS module**
Equipped with u-blox ZED-F9P dual-frequency RTK-GNSS module.
Ultra-high precision positioning in centimeter-level is possible.
The "AgriBus-GMiniR" can be used as both a reference station and a mobile station with RTK positioning.
**Equipped with gyroscope and posture sensor**
The gyro sensor provides highly accurate path prediction, and the attitude sensor intelligently compensates for deviations between the antenna position and the ground surface position caused by inclination.
This minimizes positioning errors and improves the efficiency of agricultural work.
---
# Overall composition
**When using as a mobile station
(When a reference station is also installed and the correction information transfer service is used.)**

- By using the correction information of the reference station, it can achieve centimeter-level ultra-high accuracy positioning.
It can be used in sowing operations.
- To use the correction information transfer service "[AgriBus-Caster](https://agri-info-design.com/agribus-caster-2/)", you need to subscribe to "AgriBus-NAVI" Standard Plan.
- When achieving ultra-high accuracy RTK positioning, the distance between a mobile station and a reference station should be "roughly 10 km or less.If the distance is farther than that, there is a possibility that the error will be FLOAT, but if you are aiming for an error of "within 3cm", a distance of about 20km is not a practical problem.
In some cases, users have been able to FIX even at a distance of 50km.
- To use the correction information transfer service, your smartphone/tablet must be able to connect to the Internet.
**When using as a mobile station
(When not using the correction information transfer service)**

- The accuracy will be lower than when using the correction information transfer service. It is a sub-meter level positioning. It can be used for tillage, soil breaking, and land preparation.

# Installation Method
### AgriBus-GMiniR main unit
- Prepare an environment that can be powered by the supplied USB power cable, such as a cigar-socket type USB charger or mobile battery.
- The main unit is not dustproof or waterproof. Please wrap it in a plastic bag, especially when installing it in a vehicle without a cabin.
- The main unit should be mounted on the vehicle so that it is stable, avoiding places where it may vibrate.
- Make sure that the USB power cable and antenna cable are not bent or otherwise overloaded.
- There are no restrictions on the direction in which the main unit is installed. You can set the orientation in "AgriBus-NAVI" when you use it.
### GNSS Antenna
- The antenna is waterproof. The antenna should be installed horizontally in an open area, such as above a cabin. The antenna should be placed in an unobstructed position with an elevation angle of about 15° above the horizontal plane of the antenna.
- The antenna cable length is 5 meters. Install the antenna carefully.
- It is recommended to place an iron ground plane (10-20 cm in diameter) on the bottom of the antenna to stabilize the positioning. The antenna has a built-in magnet for easy installation and removal.
- In order to prevent the antenna cable from tearing, it is recommended to use a commercially available corrugated tube (5-7mm diameter) or other protective material.
- Please consider using the rear glass, the back of the cabin, or a wiring plug for work equipment.
- There are no restrictions on where the antenna can be placed. The position is set by "AgriBus-NAVI" at the time of use.
**Installation example**

**※. Points to note**
- The antenna cable is thin, so please be careful not to tear it when pulling it in.
- If you tighten the connection between the antenna and the main unit too tightly, the cable inside the main unit may come off.
- The cable may become a hindrance when getting in, out, or driving. Please use a commercially available guide or other means to avoid traffic lines and ensure safety.

1. When GNSS signal conditions are poor
In places where it is difficult to receive signals from GNSS satellites, such as near windbreaks, next to buildings, or where the sky is not open.
2. When the correction information has not been received for a certain period of time.
If you are in a place where the signal of cell phone network is difficult to reach. If the correction information from the reference station has not reached the Internet or a correction transfer service such as AgriBus-Caster, or if there is a failure in the correction transfer service such as AgriBus-Caster.
